Puntarelle Untreated Radicchio Seeds

This puntarelle has a compact head with upright, full stems. A unique chicory that is used fresh, generally after being soaked in ice water, in Italian style salads. When seeded for fall harvest, heads will be ready in early fall. Harvest when stems of the plant have elongated to 4-6'. Not tolerant to hard freezes.
